Welcome to ClearRing! This guide will walk you through setting up your account and making your first FBR-compliant sale in under 30 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Go to pos.gridx.app/register
- Enter your business name, email, and password
- Your account starts in Test Mode — perfect for configuration without risking live data
Test Mode means all transactions are tagged as test data. When you're ready to go live, simply toggle to Production mode in Settings.
Step 2: Configure Your Business Settings
Navigate to Settings and fill in:
- Business name and address
- NTN number (your FBR registration number)
- Province (affects FBR submission format)
- Currency and tax settings
Step 3: Add Your Products
Go to Products → Add Product:
- Product name and SKU/barcode
- Selling price and cost price
- Stock quantity
- HS Code (required for FBR — you can search the FBR database directly)
- Tax category (18% standard, reduced, exempt, etc.)
For large inventories, use the Import Template to bulk-upload products via Excel.
Step 4: Configure FBR Integration
Go to Settings → FBR Settings:
- Enter your FBR Bearer Token (from IRIS portal)
- Enter your Seller NTN and Province
- Start with Staging Mode — test against FBR's sandbox
- Once tests pass, switch to Live Mode
Step 5: Make Your First Sale
Open the POS Terminal (from the sidebar):
- Search or scan products to add to cart
- Select or search for a customer (optional)
- Choose payment method
- Click Checkout
The system will:
- Generate an invoice number
- Deduct from inventory
- Create accounting entries
- Submit to FBR (in the background)
- Print/show receipt with QR code
You're Live!
That's it — you're now processing FBR-compliant sales. Explore the rest of ClearRing at your own pace:
