Is GridX ERP suitable for construction companies?

Yes — GridX ERP was originally designed for a construction and real estate firm in Pakistan. The budgeting module handles project budgets with live fund availability checks, inventory tracks construction materials across multiple sites, planning manages project timelines and labour allocation, fleet handles company vehicles, and assets tracks heavy equipment with depreciation. Accounting produces the P&L and balance sheet required for statutory reporting.

Can I run multiple companies or entities in one account?

Yes. GridX ERP supports multi-entity operation. Each company gets fully isolated data — separate chart of accounts, separate employees, separate inventory. You can add additional entities as a paid add-on. A group-level reporting view (consolidated P&L) is on the roadmap.

How does the payroll module work?

You define salary structures with components (basic salary, house rent allowance, medical, transport) and deductions (EOBI, PESSI, income tax). Each month you run payroll, the system calculates net pay for every employee, generates payslips, and posts the payroll journal entry automatically. Leave deductions are applied based on approved leave records.

Does the inventory module support multi-warehouse operations?

Yes. You can create unlimited warehouses or site locations. Stock-in (purchase orders), stock-out (issue notes), and inter-site transfers are all tracked with a full stock move history. Reorder alerts fire automatically when stock at any location falls below the defined minimum. Inventory valuation is at weighted average cost and syncs to accounting.

How does the budgeting module work with accounting?

Budgets are linked to your chart of accounts (analytical accounts). As invoices and expenses are posted, the system compares actual spend against budget in real time. You get a live fund availability indicator so approvers can see whether a purchase is within budget before approving. Budget revision requests go through the approval workflow.

Can the CRM generate invoices?

Yes. A lead in the CRM can have a quotation attached. When the deal is won, the quotation converts to an invoice in the accounting module in one click — no re-entry of line items. The conversion is tracked so you can report on quotation-to-invoice conversion rate.

Does GridX ERP support Urdu and Arabic?

Yes. The entire interface is available in English, Urdu, and Arabic with full right-to-left (RTL) layout support. Each user picks their preferred language from their profile and the UI — including menus, labels, dates, and currency formatting — switches instantly. This is available as a multi-language add-on.

How do subscription add-ons work?

GridX ERP uses a plan-plus-add-on model. Your base plan includes the core modules, and premium capabilities — branded PDF document export, multi-language/RTL, and realtime live updates — can be switched on as add-ons.
