Online Payment Gateway — Stripe & PayPal
Cash and bank-transfer reconciliation is one of the biggest time sinks in any fee office. GridX SCM now accepts fee and subscription payments online through Stripe and PayPal.
- Parents pay from a secure hosted checkout — no card details ever touch your servers.
- Payments are reconciled automatically against the right invoice.
- A receipt is issued the moment the gateway confirms the payment, via webhook — no manual matching, no end-of-day cash counting.
- Both subscription invoices (your institution paying GridX) and student fee invoices (parents paying you) are supported.
Online payments are available as a subscription add-on and can be switched on per institution.
Advanced Reports & Exports
Every operational report in GridX SCM can now be exported to Excel (XLSX), PDF, and CSV:
- Attendance summaries
- Financial statements and fee collection reports
- Academic performance and result reports
- Payroll summaries
Documents are generated server-side, so every export is branded, paginated, and consistent — whether it's opened on a phone or printed for a board meeting. PDF reports render in landscape A4 with proper table pagination, and exports respect your institution's currency. This is the format auditors and regulators expect.
Advanced exports are available as an add-on built on a dedicated reports:export permission, so you control exactly which staff can pull data out of the system.
Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance
Institutions handling EU or UK data subjects have legal obligations around the personal data they hold. GridX SCM now ships first-class tools for both core GDPR rights:
- Right of access — export every record held about a student in one click: profile, guardians, enrolments, fee accounts and invoices, attendance history, exam results, and the related audit-log entries.
- Right to erasure — redact personal identifiers (name, email, phone, date of birth, address) while preserving financial and referential integrity, so historical accounting stays intact and balanced.
Every export and erasure is written to an immutable audit trail, and the capability is gated behind a dedicated compliance:gdpr permission so only authorised data-protection officers can act on subject requests.
Per-Tenant Subscription Add-ons
Behind the scenes, GridX SCM uses a single base plan plus à-la-carte add-ons. Each add-on unlocks a specific module and its permissions — LMS, Library, Hostel, Transport, Canteen, AI, SMS, and now Online Payments, Advanced Reports, and GDPR Compliance.
The platform administrator can assign any add-on to any institution on demand from the Tenants screen:

The application now wraps every screen in a global error boundary. If a single component ever hits an unexpected error, the user sees a clean recovery screen with Try Again and Reload options instead of a blank page — and the rest of their session stays intact.
